THE head of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Inc. (PHAPi) said a decline in the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases was imminent, but the country is also losing its health care workers to developed countries.
"For the past week, we observed a trend that it is going down but the utilization rate in hospitals remained high, including intensive care units (ICUs) and wards, but we are seeing a decrease in the past one to two weeks and hopefully it continues," PHAPi President Dr. Jose Rene de Grano told The Manila Times.
