LOOKING closer at the finer details of the results of DigiVoice's Third Quarter PinaSurvey reveals interesting trends. If elections were held today, or to be accurate, in the period September 9 to 13, when the noncommissioned survey was conducted on 1,000 randomized respondents using the mobile app developed by DigiVoice, what we have is a triple-way tie between Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso, former senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara 'Inday' Duterte-Carpio.
In terms of demographics, Domagoso is the top choice in the 18 to 29 and the 30 to 44 age groups. He is also the more preferred by female voters and by cisgender voters. He topped the C2 socioeconomic group, and he is the top choice among the college graduates, vocational graduates and those with some high school education. He is also preferred by those who are fully employed, by housewives and house husbands, and by students. It appears that the youth favor Domagoso, contrary to the anticipated support for Vice President Maria Leonor 'Leni' Robredo.
