Caloocan City's mayoral contest will likely be a match between the city's two congressional representatives — Rep. Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan and veteran Rep. Edgar "Egay" Erice.
The son of outgoing mayor Oscar Malapitan was formally proclaimed on Thursday as the local standard-bearer of Team Aksyon at Malasakit together with his running mate, Councilor Karina Teh.
