ASIDE from Sen. Emmanuel 'Manny' Pacquiao, three other independent candidates for president have filed their certificates of candidacy (CoC) as of 11:50 a.m, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Comelec spokesman James Jimenez also said on Friday that several senatorial candidates have also filed their CoCs, among them Antique Rep. Loren Legarda, Sorogon Gov. Francis 'Chiz' Escudero, former Eastern Samar governor Lutgardo Barbo, former Pagsanjan mayor Abner Afuang, Bay Maylanie Esmael, and animal welfare advocate Norman Marquez.
