5 slain NPA rebels get proper burial

TUGUEGARAO CITY: The bodies of five members of the New People's Army (NPA) who were killed in a clash were given 'proper and decent burial' at the public cemetery in Sta. Teresita, Cagayan on Friday, the Army spokesman said.

Maj. Jekyll Julian Dulawan, 5th Infantry Division spokesman and division public affairs chief, said the NPA members — identified as rebel leaders Ka Titan, Ka Dyosa and Ka Marlon, and two others — were buried after a solemn Mass administered by a priest.
