THE local government of Muntinlupa has announced the preregistration of adolescents, aged 12 to 17 years old, for vaccination, following the issuance of an emergency use authorization (EUA) of a Covid-19 vaccine for children.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi urged parents and guardians to register their children at the Muntinlupa City Covid-19 Vaccination Program (Muncovac) as protection from the adverse effects of Covid-19. Fresnedi said the preregistration aims to create a database of the adolescent group eligible for Covid-19 vaccines in preparation for final guidelines from the Department of Health.
