BACOLOD CITY: Ten lawmakers from Western Visayas are pushing for a congressional inquiry that would investigate the upward increase in electricity rates in Negros Occidental and Iloilo.
Negros Occidental Third District Rep. Francisco "Kiko" Benitez said Friday, September 17, the resolution was co-authored by Reps. Greg Gasataya (Bacolod), Gerardo Valmayor (First District), Leo Rafael Cueva (Second District), Juliet Marie Ferrer (Fourth District), Ma. Lourdes Arroyo (Fifth District) and Gerardo Alvarez Jr. (Sixth District).
