DAGUPAN CITY: Officers and members of the Region 1 Medical Center Employees Association (R1MCEA) have joined the National Department of Health Employees Association (Nadea) in expressing their full support for the retention of Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd amid calls for his resignation over alleged lapses in releasing benefits of health-care workers and other issues, saying the controversy has affected Duque's reputation and credibility.
One such benefit is the special risk allowance for all health workers helping the country battle coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) that reportedly has not been received by the concerned parties.
