45% of Baguio population vaccinated

THERE are 126,656 residents, or 45 percent of Baguio City's total population, who have been vaccinated against Covid-19, according to a city health department report. Health workers jabbed a one-day record high of 9,335 recently at seven vaccination sites: University of Baguio (1,653), Saint Louis University (3,212), SM parking area (1,540), Baguio City Public Market (575), Divine Mercy (1,154, all second doses) Baguio City High School (509, all second doses) and Irisan National High School 692, all second doses). As to vaccine brands administered, 4,601 had Moderna; 2,510 had AstraZeneca; 1,395 had Sinovac and 829 received the Pfizer vaccine. There were 1,460 who got their first dose while 7,875 residents had their second dose, bringing the number of those fully immunized to 126,656 or 45.07 percent of the city population estimated at 281, 000.
