THE newly appointed administrator of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), Secretary Guiling "Gene" Mamondiong, assured the public that water supply and quality in the provinces would continue to be of the highest standard - along with the kind of public service that the agency and the local water districts delivers to its consumers.

Mamondiong, who was recently named by Malacañang to head the agency that provides water outside Metro Manila, gave the assurance as soon as he assumed office at the LWUA headquarters in Balara, Quezon City.
