THE local government of Muntinlupa, through the Muntinlupa City Covid-19 Vaccination Program (MunCoVac), announced that the city has already administered a total of 507,964 vaccines and has inoculated nearly half of the target population as of September 8.

An officer of MunCoVac posted on its Facebook page that 49.9 percent of the target residents have been fully vaccinated, 'only a 0.1 percent shy of being halfway toward achieving herd immunity.' This translates to 192,360 individuals to have received the required total number of doses.
