The Department of Health (DoH) said on Wednesday that 80 percent of new Covid-19 cases in the past two weeks were concentrated in 11 to 30 percent of barangay (villages) in the NCR Plus area.
The DoH said an analysis of Feasibility Analysis of Syndromic Surveillance Using Spatio-Temporal Epidemiological Modeler For Early Detection of Diseases or Fassster data was its basis for implementing, beginning today, September 16, a new response system that focuses on granular rather than large-scale lockdowns.
