The bulk of the Basilan team that played in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League and won a championship recently in the VisMin Cup, will be considered as among the favored squads competing in the inaugural tournament of the FilBasket League set September 25 in Splendido in Laurel, Batangas.
Carrying the team Almerial International Construction Corporation (AICC), the squad will be handled by champion coach Jerson Cabiltes, who will be bringing in the core of the Basilan team and two more additional players.
