Sotto appeals ban on religious gatherings

SENATE President Vicente 'Tito' Sotto 3rd on Monday appealed to the government to reconsider the prohibition on religious gatherings under the new granular lockdown.

He asked the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to reconsider the prohibition, saying government pandemic regulators should allow religious worship of at least 10 percent of a church's capacity.
