When Toyota Motor Philippines first unveiled the new Vios GR Sport (or GR-S) for the local market, this writer immediately judged it as simply a Vios G variant that's been kitted to look sportier. Are my prejudices right, or does the supposed Gazoo Racing treatment add any form of excitement to the country's best-selling car?
From an aesthetics standpoint, the Vios GR Sport in my opinion is the most handsome Vios yet. The body kit and 16-inch black alloy wheels add a dose of sportiness to the sedan's looks. A lot may consider the design to be too much, but unlike Toyota's past offerings, the enhanced exterior is matched by an improved interior design.
