DENR pushes for safe disposal of hazardous wastes

A Philippine Health-Care Waste Management Project (PHCWMP) will be implemented by the government to address the huge waste problem brought about by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is concerned about the increasing generation of health-care waste particularly due to the Covid-19 pandemic that just came about in late 2019.
