An artist reborn; a mother healed

From the moment she could pick up a crayon, art became as easy and natural as breathing for Kristine Lim. All but a toddler when she did, her stick figures were distinctly formed from the get-go and would always catch the attention of relatives and visitors who would come to her family home.

Growing up, this gifted and only child of two upstanding and self-made professionals wasn't drawn so much to toys as she was to pencils, coloring materials, sketchbooks or any clean, blank piece of paper. She actually learned to draw before she could write, and exceptionally well indeed.
