'Kiko' slightly weakens after making landfall

AFTER making landfall over Ivana, Batanes, Typhoon 'Kiko' (international name: 'Chanthu') has weakened slightly as it moved over the coastal waters of Itbayat, also in the province, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Saturday.

Still, Signal No. 4 has been raised over Batanes while Signal No. 3 is up over the northeastern portion of the Babuyan Islands.
