MARAMAG, Bukidnon:
Five suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels were killed in running gunbattles with government forces on Wednesday and Thursday in the hinterlands of Bukidnon province in southern Mindanao, according to the military.

Ten other communist rebels, including three minors, were captured during the two-day firefights, it said also on Thursday.
