'Pinoy Big Brother' opens doors to new housemates

Since its first run in 2005, 'Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)' quickly became part of Philippine pop culture. Albeit franchised from an original Dutch reality TV program, ABS-CBN successfully made the show our own by tapping into the hopes and dreams of every housemate who has gone in and out of the landmark Bahay ni Kuya in Quezon City, all of them rooted in genuine Filipino values.

According to PBB head director Laurenti Dyogi, their team is proud of the show's longevity, which can only mean they've chosen the right housemates from season to season. Relatability is a necessity in a program like this, and audiences have obviously connected with the diverse personalities they gather under one roof.
