WITH the alarming Covid-19 surge in the city in previous weeks, the local government of Muntinlupa is reinforcing the utilization of isolation facilities and strengthening its prevent-detect-isolate-treat-reintegrate strategy in a bid to prevent further local transmission.

Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi convened local officials and barangay (village) chairmen for an emergency meeting to present the latest Covid-19 situation in the city and discuss health measures to combat the rising cases of Covid-19 and possible surge due to highly transmissible variants of concern.
