COTABATO CITY: The Bangsamoro government, through the Bangsamoro Library and Archives (BLA), conducted series of educational outreach programs for Bangsamoro learners on July 22, 26 and 27 in the municipalities of Parang, Talayan and North Kabuntalan, in Maguindanao. The BLA team distributed learning materials with hygiene kits, snacks and toys to children 5-9 years old who are currently out of school and those who are undergoing online educational learning because of the pandemic. The children were entertained in a storytelling segment where they were asked a couple of questions with prizes. Chief Librarian Kamilah Unda and her staff gave the children a library orientation and provided an overview of the library of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). 'I am really thankful to those who came and participated. We appreciate all of you for showing interest in our activities,' Unda said. Meanwhile, Parang Mayor Cahar Ibay extended his thanks to the Office of the BARMM Chief Minister. 'I am very glad that we have been chosen by the Office of the Chief Minister as one of their beneficiaries for today's event,' Ibay said.
