1 killed, 2 wounded at Cavite checkpoint

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite: A man was killed and two others were wounded when they clashed with police at a checkpoint here midnight of Thursday.

Policemen from the Dasmariñas City Police Station manning the 'Oplan Sita' checkpoint at Barangay Salawag said they had become suspicious when they spotted the three men aboard a white taxi without a license plate around 12:30 a.m.
