The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) is expected to boost its citrus research and development (R&D) in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DoST-PCAARRD).

NVSU Officer in Charge-President Ruth Padilla said the DoST-PCAARRD has funded a new project worth P10.3 million which was proposed by Dr. Jonar Yago, NVSU professor and who currently has a secondment at the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Plant Industry.
