THE first few weeks in the NBA offseason were headlined by mega trades, contract extensions and free agent signings.

The Lakers acquired Russell Westbrook to have another playmaker and scorer alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Suns kept its core intact by re-signing Chris Paul to a whopping four-year deal worth $120 million. And after nine seasons, including an NBA championship in 2019, Kyle Lowry left Toronto to join the Miami Heat.
