MOTORISTS in Guiguinto, Bulacan will no longer have to endure the heavy traffic and longer alternative routes because starting August 31, the new Tabang Bridge shall be open to the public.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan First District Engineering Office announced that the Tabang Bridge is ready for public use on Tuesday after more than seven months of construction. Engr. Henry Alcantara, district engineer of the DPWH-Bulacan First District Engineering Office, explained that the delay in the opening of the bridge was due to the heavy rains caused by Typhoon "Fabian" last month.
