President now wants casinos in Boracay to raise govt funds

Contrary to his previous pronouncements, President Rodrigo Duterte said he is now allowing the establishment of casinos on Boracay Island, citing the need for more sources of funds for the government.

In his 'Talk to the People' aired late Thursday night, the Chief Executive apologized to the public for not keeping his word, saying he was willing to do anything to collect money.
