Govt repatriates 1.3M Filipinos in pandemic

DEFENSE Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said on Tuesday that 1,375,686 Filipinos abroad have already been repatriated since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a taped weekly briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte, Lorenzana said of that number, 1,101,930 were overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) while 273,546 were residents returning from abroad.
