Power deal extended to ease supply crunch in Mindoro

The National Power Corp. (Napocor) on Monday announced the extension of an existing agreement to alleviate the power supply situation in Occidental Mindoro.

In a statement, the state-run corporation said it will allocate funds and extend its power supply agreement (PSA) with Occidental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (Omeco), pending its completion of a competitive selection process (CSP) for its additional power requirements.
