DMCI Power Corp. is investing about P3.5 billion for the construction of new power plants in Masbate and Palawan, its parent firm DMCI Holdings, Inc. said on Monday.

Of the total amount, about P2.7 billion will be earmarked to construct a thermal power plant in Narra, Palawan that will have a capacity of about 15 megawatts (MW).
