MARK Magsayo is a step closer to his dream of becoming a world champion after a brutal knockout win over Julio Ceja in the World Boxing Council (WBC) featherweight title eliminator at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (Philippine Time).

The 26-year-old power puncher ignited two explosive punches right to the face of Ceja to put the latter to sleep at the 50-second mark in the 10th round. Magsayo stunned Ceja with a right straight to the face and followed it up with another straight to the jaw that dropped the Mexican boxer for good.
