Cannes best director awardee Brillante Mendoza has two films in the can that might be sent as entries to festival abroad before being shown locally.
These are "GenSan Punch," a story about a disabled Japanese boxer who is seeking to have a license, and "Resbak," a movie about gang and motorcycle theft with the Barangay SK Elections as backdrop.
