There is a group that I discovered who call themselves the Circle of Friends, led by my wonderful neighbor, Professor Nelia Cruz Sarcol, who is the founder, president and CEO of the CIE British Schools, with campuses in the cities of Makati, Cebu and Tacloban.

The Tunay na Iskolar ng Bayan project allows the student to finish a bachelor’s degree in business, information and communications, or a master’s degree in management for free.
The Circle of Friends’ main advocacy is education.
She is fondly called "Teacher Nelia" by almost everyone. She did a fantastic job of gathering and organizing her friends to form a new Rotary Club, soon to be called the Rotary Club of Makati Circle of Friends of District 3830. CIE will soon become a corporate member and partner of this club too.
