ALTHOUGH we do make an effort to be supportive of President Rodrigo Duterte, believing that his policy and principles and the government actions through which they are manifested are, on balance, more productive for the country than not, we will not overlook statements or actions that are contrary to law, common sense, or civilized behavior. The President's expletive-filled tirade against the Commission on Audit (CoA) on Monday night was, just as Sen. Panfilo 'Ping' Lacson deemed it, out of line, and that in the extreme.
