It was former Executive Director of National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Mrs. Cecile Guidote-Alvarez who once introduced Caveat and some friends to ex-Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chief Manoling Morato who recently passed away.
He was until his death Cecile's loyal sponsor of her award-winning "Radyo Balintataw" program on station DZRH, a spin-off from her pioneering and multi-awarded weekly Balintataw TV drama anthology that used to dramatize literary classics until it was truncated by the proclamation of Martial Law. Its production was resumed after ex-pres. Corazon Aquino came to power.
