Guam reaches herd immunity and is open for business

Guam Acting Gov. Josh Tenorio announced that the island of Guam has officially reached herd immunity by vaccinating 80 percent of its adult population.

Announced at Guam's major vaccination center at the University of Guam Fieldhouse, Tenorio stated that restrictions on social gatherings, social distancing and operations by appointment only have been lifted since July 30, 2021 at exactly 12:01 a.m.
