DILG vows cash aid to be delivered on time

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday gave assurances that the distribution of financial assistance to residents affected by the enhanced community quarantine or ECQ in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be done on time.

'As agreed with the Metro Manila Council, all local government units (LGUs) in the NCR will be starting their Ayuda (Aid) 2 distribution today, including the City of Manila,' said DILG spokesman Jonathan Malaya in a statement.
