12,021 cases in one day

The Department of Health reported 12,021 new Covid-cases on Wednesday, the third highest figure since the pandemic started and the highest since April 3, 2021 when 12,556 cases were reported.

Active cases also rose to a four-month high at 81,399 cases, of which 97.2 percent, or 79,120 are mild, moderate, and asymptomatic cases, while 2.6 percent, or 2,116, are severe or critical cases.
