THE Department of Health (DoH) will revise its existing guidelines on the priority groups of vaccination to include pregnant women under A3 or persons with underlying conditions.

The new recommendation comes after the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urged pregnant women to get vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), citing increasing evidence of safety and effectiveness of vaccines during pregnancy.
