PH reports 177 new Delta variant cases

THE Philippines reported 177 new cases of the highly-transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Thursday, according to the Department of Health (DoH), pushing the total number of infected individuals to 627.

Of the 177, 144 are local cases, three came from returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF) and 30 are still being verified.
