To establish a unified contact tracing system in the country, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian on Tuesday called on the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to further intensify the campaign among local government units (LGUs) on the use of StaySafe.PH application.

"In reality, contact tracing is still insufficient. Only a few LGUs are using the unified contact tracing. Unlike in Taiwan and Singapore, they have a single contact tracing app. Here in our country, we are yet to perfect the contact tracing app. This is what we lack in the country," Gatchalian said in Filipino.
