What's with the DILG? Doesn't it have enough problems of its own? Why is it going after Manila Mayor Isko Moreno who may or may not even run in the 2022 presidential election? Why can't it run after the drug lords and jueteng lords whose identities I suppose would not be too difficult to unmask. What is it afraid of?
"Auditing" the local government units for their drug prevention campaign is fine, but the DILG should start with its ranks by conducting an honest-to-goodness lifestyle check on the PNP officers and police regulars. DILG should ask itself if it has apprehended a drug lord of note or has busted a drug syndicate. I offer an answer: None! Zilch! Nada!
