AFTER a historical four-medal finish of the Philippines in the recently concluded 2020 Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, the Department of Education (DepEd) is encouraging student-athletes to apply for admission to the newly-established National Academy of Sports (NAS).
"We encourage our young athletes to apply for Student-Scholarship at NAS. This will help them be more exposed [to] their chosen sports while enhancing their academic performance," said Education Secretary Leonor Briones.
