BACOLOD City's tugboat crews, who make a vital but often overlooked contribution to the local economy, were vaccinated against Covid-19 in mid-July.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara and sponsored by Bacolod Tugboat Services and Multi J Realty Development Corp., tugboat captains, crews and their families plus members of the Rotaract Clubs of Marapara and Granada received their jabs from Dr. Cris Sorongon from the Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center Task Force.
