THE United Nations urged the Philippine government to introduce more flexible modes of financing for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to help them recover from the effects of the pandemic.

Gaelle Demolis, Philippine Program presence officer of the UN Women Regional Office in Asia and the Pacific, issued the call based on a study conducted by three UN agencies - International Labor Organization, United Nations Industrial Development Organization and UN Women.
