Delta variant spreads in Metro Manila -- DoH

THE highly-infectious Delta variant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has spread in the National Capital Region (NCR) or in Metro Manila, according to the Department of Health (DoH) on Friday, the first day of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said all cities in the region have reported at least one case of the Delta variant.
