UN asks PH for 'more flexible modes of financing' for MSMEs

THE United Nations (UN) asked the Philippines to introduce 'more flexible modes of financing' for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to help them recover from the effects of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

Gaelle Demolis, Philippine Program Presence Officer, UN Women Regional Office Adia and the Pacific, stressed this based on a study conducted by the International Labor Organization, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and UN Women.
