Japan lauds PH boxer Petecio's 'amazing sportsmanship'

THE Japanese people expressed their appreciation to Filipino boxer and Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio for her 'amazing sportsmanship'.

Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko pointed this out after Petecio hugged her opponent, Japanese boxer Irie Sena, after their match.
