Petron bounces back from loss

Petron Corp. ended the first half-year period with a consolidated net income of P3.87 billion, which is a reversal from the P14.24 billion net loss it incurred in the same period last year.

Consolidated revenues of Petron's Philippine and Malaysian operations climbed by 14 percent to P174.13 billion from P152.36 billion amid lower sales volume.
