AMID the daily extended brownout periods in Occidental Mindoro, Department of Energy (DoE) undersecretary Emmanuel Juaneza said he will meet all agencies concerned on Wednesday to resolve the power crisis in the province.
In an exclusive interview with The Manila Times, Juaneza said the DoE's position is for the Occidental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (Omeco) to direct OMCPC (Occidental Mindoro Consolidated Power Corporation) to immediately provide "replacement power" while it is conducting preventive maintenance service on its generator sets.
